Hi, I have a 2015 Toyota Highlighter with 130k miles. I previously did a drain and fill on the automatic transmission about 30k miles ago. I think it was the first time the fluid had been changed. I bought the car used and didn’t see any records showing otherwise. I’ve been told that it’s risky changing the fluid with that kind of mileage. I wasn’t aware of that information when I did it.
My question is: should I continue changing the fluid every 50k miles as recommended or leave it alone and just consider my self lucky nothing happened after changing the fluid?
