Drive Belt for 2008 Lexus RX 350 FWD

Hey Scotty.

I have a 2008 Lexus RX 350 with 102,000 miles, so I’m going to replace the drive belt.  If I go to Lexus’ Parts site their replacement belt is over $66!  I did see a YouTube video where a mechanic was talking about Toyota drive belts, and it showed Bando as the belt brand.  Should I just get that brand as long as the OEM# is the same?  Or do you (and our community) have a recommendation for a good aftermarket drive belt brand?

Thanks!

Omar

I would get the OEM. How much are you gonna save with aftermarket? 40 bucks?

Yaser, yes, about $40 bucks or so. RockAuto, for example, has the Bando belt for $8.51.

I would get OEM.

OEM or high quality aftermarket, such as a Gates.

Just an fyi, the video I referenced in first post above, where the belt showed Bando as the brand, also had Toyota printed on the belt.
