2005 VW Passat 1.8T with 145k miles. I recently got the P0456 Code (very small evap leak). I checked the gas cap, and the rubber seal is cracked/worn, so I'm going to start with replacing that before changing the evap purge valve. Are duralast gas caps fine, or should I pay the extra money and go OEM?

I have bought lots of Duralast products but only if they come with a limited lifetime warranty. I refuse to pay the dealer double, OEM price for things like this. If it doesn't work, I can always take it back. We're talking about a gas cap, not an ECU here.
