I have a 2019 Mercedes E450, just bought it as a pre-owned with 21000 miles. I open the doors & start the car with my key fob, no problem. When I leave the car the easy exit function, (seat goes back & steering wheel goes up,) does not work. The function in the car is set to work with both seat & steering wheel. But when my wife uses her key fob and then leaves the car the easy exit function works perfectly.
Her seat memory number is #1 & mine is #2.
Any ideas on what to check out???
Yeah just use your wife's key, either something's wrong with your key or the system's only working on number one those are complicated rolling bits of electromechanical insanity the Germans basically are getting even with us for beating them in world war II. I know Mercedes-Benz mechanics with their fancy star scan tools that don't even know half of what the scan tools can do on those cars they're so complex
Some of them have over 100 separate computer modules so good luck with that in the future it will only get worse if you keep the car
