Is it safe to buy a car off of Ebay?

Yes if you have a mechanic check it out first and see if it has any issues then maybe you can get it.

Safe? Generally yes. More challenging than buying it from a more local advertiser? Yes. Transportation costs generally make purchasing from outside your area prohibitive. You could narrow your eBay search to cars in your area but you wont get as many results as other places like Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.
