Trying to edit a post
Sometimes the "edit" option is present while other times its not

You can only edit a post for a few minutes after putting it up. The intent of the function is for you to have a window of time to go back and correct typographical errors, but you don't have to ability after that to change what you've written.

I’ll add that if you intend to edit your original post after the edit window has closed, mention any mod @space and explain what needs editing.
