I have a 2014 Lexus ES350 85500 miles. the driver"s sideview mirror will go up and down using the interior control buttons, but if i try to go side to side the controls go dead and will no longer go up and down. I have to shut the car down and wait a bit- the system resets and will resume function up and down - but not side to side (which. as stated will cause the controls to become totally none functional). There is no problem on the passenger sideview mirror.

Have you tested the switch that controls the mirror?
