turn signal fast blink

Hey Scotty I have a 2001 Chevy Impala base model 3.4 liter 4 dr.  Recently the driver side break & turn signal stopped working, the running lights work ok.  Changed the bulbs and checked all the fuses but still not working so I took it to a mechanic and he ended up replacing the multi function switch and the hazard witch, both did need replacing.  Now all other lights work fine even front turn signals work.  I did notice that the left turn signal blinks faster than the right.  He ran a probe to find where the break was in the wiring but could not find anything.  Would you have any suggestions what I might try  to resolve this issue ?

Well if they actually flash but they flash too fast. That generally means the flasher has gone bad on that side. Or you have a bad ground or power wire going to either the front or the back bulbs which will make it flash faster because the computer system gets confused by the difference in power that's needed to make the lights go
