I have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 163,000 miles. I had problems with the car not starting in the morning, or it would start and shut off after a few seconds. It would start and run fine in the afternoon. I changed the starter switch and unplugged the immobilizer and the car starts and runs all the time, however in the morning the windshield wipers, radio sound, side doors, hatch door and instrument cluster lights do not work. They all work fine in the afternoon. Yesterday evening it was raining and I had the same electrical issues. Any ideas?
does it show any signs of moisture in any of the connections you’ve unplugged? Could be condensation in an electrical connection building up over night
I was thinking the same thing. It must be in one of the plugs in the TIPM. I wonder if there is a particular plug that controls all of the functions going hay wire. I'm not sure how to check for this. Maybe in the afternoon when all is working well I could use a spray bottle on some of the connections and see what happens. I will check for moisture as you suggested tomorrow morning.

As long as your talking about using terminal cleaner, that's fine. You very well could be getting condensation/moisture in the fuse box. This could be the cause of all your problems.
