Does coolant that has never been opened, always stored in a garage have a shelf life?

Thank you Darren

NO, nothing lasts indefinitely.

shelf life is 5 years, and it should be replaced each (at most) every 5 years - that's actually not a "long life" at all.

("super long life" is exactly like "lifetime fluid" - 100% lies)

I think it should be good as long as it does not exceeed the life of the coolant (7 years?).

If it's still sealed, it lasts forever basically. Once it's opened, it can last for years.

Hi everyone ! I just opened a bottle of Toyota coolant ( 50/50 Asian vehicle red/pink). I used a little and now the question is : for how long can the rest of the coolant in the opened bottle last ?? Thanks.

A very long time. what does it say on the bottle? 5 year coolant or something like that right?

I mean the rest of coolant will stay in its own bottle until I'll use it again. I guess wont go bad with time?!

well if it lasts 5 years in a metal engine that gets really hot, it'll probably last at least twice that in a sealed plastic bottle at outside temperature.

Nailed it boss ! Thanks !

I have a gallon bottle of OEM Toyota super long life coolant (pre-mixed from the factory) that I opened about 1.5-2 years ago and it's been capped and in my garage ever since.

It's good indefinitely, right? Thanks
