engine cutting and hesitating when trying to increase turbo boost pressure
Hi everyone, I have a 1992 toyota supra manual turbo, 135k miles on it.
I tried upping the boost pressure a little and the engine is cutting and hesitating like hitting a brick wall.
Eventually I heard a sputtering noise that sounded like the turbo grenading when gassing higher boost pressure, only around 10 PSI. There was one time a year ago it ran so nice still with the WG hose blown off by mistake when it wasnt clamped down well.
What could be the issue?

turn the pressure back down, or have it professionally dyno tuned.
