Hey Scotty, I have a 2001 Mazda Miata 6 speed manual currently at 161000 miles.
Whenever I start driving when the engine is still cold, the car engine hesitates and the car would jerk when I accelerate. It almost feel like the engine is choking or there is a misfire. When the engine is warmed up, the issue went away.
Any thoughts? Could it be the catalytic converter that's not warmed up?

Get it scanned and see if it throws any codes.
