Engine noise Toyota Corolla 98-99

Hi!

I was hoping someone could help me to diagnose something on my Corolla 98. I have a weird engine noise that comes from the engine room of my Corolla. Noise gets louder during acceleration. It happened suddenly although there has been a rattling sound when letting go off the gas at higher speeds. Might not be connected though. Could it be the waterpump? 26.000 mileage. I will post a link to a video where the sound can be heard.

It sounds like a bearing is going out in the -

alternator, PS pump, water pump. AC compressor, idler and tensioner pulleys, etc.  Get a long screwdriver and put it on each component and listen for the noise to isolate the component.  What is the actual mileage on this 24 year old vehicle?

Ok. Thanks. I will try to listen with a long screwdriver. My mistake, i wrote in the wrong metric system. That would be around 168,000 Miles (271084km).
