Hey Scotty, I have a 2013 GMC Terrain with a 4 cylinder automatic transmission 2 wheel drive, front wheel drive and I’m wondering if I can use 10W-30 oil in the summer months In place of the required 5W-30.

The only viscosity to use in most cars, are what the manufacturer recommends. Usually it is just one viscosity. Sometimes it could be two. It is rarely three or more.
