I have a 2017 VW Tiguan and the service and maintenance book doesn’t indicate at any interval a required transmission fluid and filter change.
I read on some forums and from a mechanic that the transmission fluid just needs be checked. I have 80k miles on the car and it shift fine, but I am leery about putting on any additional miles without at least a fluid change.
Should I just change the fluid and filter anyway or leave it well enough alone?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
