I have a 93 Pontiac Grand Am GT With the 3300 V-6 with 70.730 original miles and it's an automatic I've owned since new. It runs good but when put in park the engine surges up and down about a hundred RPM but when put in drive it stops and sounds normal. What causes this and is it an easy fix. Thanks.

That car is getting close to 30 years old. Check all vacuum lines and the idle air control valve.
