My brother who lives in Clarksville TN loves Ford Mustangs. He wrecked his 1994 Mustang 2 years ago. He was sick about it. He asked me to find another  94 Mustang on the internet because he is computer illiterate. I found a 94 mustang gt with 145,000 miles 2 hours from Clarksville. I leave Illinois pick my brother up and drive to see it. He buys car for 4,000. Drives for approximately a year engine blows. He kept engine from his wrecked mustang so gets local repair shop to replace blown engine. Repair shop just gave the car back to him and it has bad miss while being driven check engine light comes on  and off. However while car sits at idle in park it idles perfect as soon as he puts in drive it starts acting up. Mechanic said he just needs to drive it for a few days. They did not install catalytic converters back on car could this be the problem. He believes the Mechanic did not wire something correctly. He is afraid to take car back to them. Engine that is in car now was a strong engine and that had everything to do with accident. Love your show.

so... what is the question?

Scan the vehicle for codes. Where was the motor rebuilt at? You could have found a remanufactured engine for that car (despite paying a bit more).
