Hi Scotty I have a 96 dodge dakota v8 with 4x4 engine knocks was wondering I have a 92 engine that runs great would it be wise to swap engines or find a remanufactured engines work better

That's quite a difference in years. And 1995/1996 is right around the time when diagnostic technology changed from OBD1 to OBD2.
Do your research on the internet and check, but I think you'll need a motor that is closer in model year.
