Engine/Transmission Life on 2016 Honda Metropolitan

This is a follow up to a previous question of mine that I asked about my 2016 Honda Metropolitan 50cc Moped. I am wondering what the general lifespan of the scooter is. I want to get it to 100,000 miles if I can before it needs major work. It currently has about 1,600. I have seen conflicting information on how long Honda 50ccs last from as low as 10,000 miles to 50k and beyond. The Owner's Manual suggests an oil change every 4,000 miles and I change it every 1,000 miles. I am still trying to find out how often I need to do the transmission fluid on it. It uses a fuel injection system and overall is a pretty nice scooter.

Honda makes good vehicles but realize 50cc mopeds were not made to go 100,000 mi. They're not like cars. Those tiny little engines eventually just flat wear out. I've never personally seen one that had more than 20,000 mi on it and even that's a rarity. But I may change the oil every thousand mi or so and see what happens
