Have you ever used an engine tuner? Do they wear an engine excessively? Have an 09 Silverado 5.3 with 125,000 miles. Previous owner offered to sell his to me.

The physical tuner does nothing to the engine that would cause wear if it is correctly programmed to tune a specific engine. It's the behavior of your right foot as a result of the tune that can cause excessive wear.
Have you ever used an engine tuner?
My 2017 Mustang has been professionally tuned via an engine tuner. Only professionals should be messing with the parameters of an engine. BAMA Performance did mine.
