I recently had the BCM programmed and replaced from the stock BCM in my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500LT 4x4 5.3L V8 due to failure. All issues presenting from the BCM failure, horn blaring, lights flashing, door locks not working, highbeams, cab lights, blinkers, washer fluid, wipers, all on with switches closed, have ceased.
However, there are two new service checks on the vehicle.
The Airbag Service light is on, as well as the TPMS Service light.
The TPMS Calibration was done in the dealership, however still is not displaying tire pressure and the light is still on. They did not bother to touch the Airbag Light...
Here are the codes presenting
BCM: B3924-00, B101E-48, B3980-00, B29550-00, B3979-00, B3927-00, C0775-00
IPC: B3902-00
IRSDM: B1001-00, B3902-00
Some of this, points to the Airbag Controle Module needing replacement... but I can't see why, it was never an issue prior to the BCM failure. It could also be that the BCM was used, which would really piss me off since they're on the Global A Architecture and not to be swapped, they must be brand new. If the dealer grabbed a return... then it's all out war. I purchased the new BCM through GM Parts Now and called Berger Chevrolet, their affiliate, to inquire about the status of their BCM's, whether they are used, returns, or wiped BCM's. They claim that they are all from GM and unused.
The P/N purchased is a confirmed replacement of the stock P/N that came with the truck.
I inspected the underseat Airbag connectors, cleaned them, and also inspected the impact sensors, they're intact.
I'm at a bit of a loss, could use a little help with some out of the box ideas on what the issue could be.
I appreciate it, thank you!
same as any trouble light. Run a diagnostic scan to see what it's reporting.
The scan I did shows codes B1001-00 Option Configuration Error and B3902-00 Incorrect Immobilizer Identifier Received. The vehicle has never been in an accident, so I'm not sure why that's happening, unless it has any relation to the new BCM that was programmed and installed. I am also getting a B101E-48 Electronic Control Unit Software - Security Code Not Programmed code.
Please keep all your info together in one topic so we don't have to go hunting all over for it. Thanks.

Hello,
Recently had my BCM programmed and replaced. All of the issues in my previous post about the electrical issue have been solved. The diagnosis was a bad BCM. Now the airbag light is stuck on.
Any suggestions on how to get that airbag light off?
those all sound like it wasn't programmed correctly
Well, it was done at a Chevy dealership, so that doesn't surprise me. I'm baffled that they gave it back to me with the airbag service light on. If they did that, ignored it, and a customer got into an accident, I'd imagine they'd be liable for the negligence. Crazy.
