hey Scotty!Yes, I’m from the Great White North! I know you don’t like GM cars, but I have a 2008 Buick Allure with a 3.8 litre engine!For a while my engine came on and my scan said evap problem. A friend told me to check my throttle body because they get carbed up and can cause similar problems. I took the throttle body off and gave it a good cleaning! After that the engine light went off for about 2-3 months.eng. Light came back on, scan says evap canister code! Im68 and have 3major abdominal surgeries and a perforated bowel and colostomy bag and a reversal! Thank God! I’m widowed, living on a small pension and struggle with repairs because of my stomach muscles are shot! I have 91Kms. On it, love the car,no rust and wonder should I replace the evap canister or do the old smoke test or check for stuck solenoid on evap? What say you?? Thanks Scotty! Love your show!
