How to fix my car without a toothpick?

Hi Scotty - my 2010 dodge grand caravan 4.0 SXT everything shuts off while driving steering and Brakes harding, it start again on Park. while parked in my driveway, it shutdown when I slightly wiggled the key, I inserted a toothpick between the key and the ignition switch gap, since then it doesn't shuts off anymore. Please advise the fix without toothpick 😀

Get and install a new ignition switch.

I think @doc is right.  Never done it, but my understanding is that replacing is easier and better than trying to fix it.
