i hope you are doing well
I have 2009 Honda Civic sedan with automatic transmission. Recently the gear shifts have been very jerky and the car having been revving higher than usual. I started facing this issues when the car’s front exhaust pipe started leaking. I also feel a shake from the front exhaust pipe when the car revs higher. So I wanted to ask, does an exhaust leak cause transmission issues and what is the reason behind it?

I've never heard of an exhaust leak causing transmission issues.
