Hello Scotty. I want to ask a question about my 2007 Honda Accord, 130K miles, automatic. It did cost me so much time to find the reason. I'm tired with switching car shops.

Past story 1

There was a fallen tree hitted my car about eight months ago. But it only cause some scratch on the top. So I don't think it inference anything. Insurance company help me to repair the appearance.

Past story 2

My friend borrowed my car for road test 3 months ago. Unfortunately she take wrong action and heat the curbside. All four wheels and the tires were broken. But no other issue found. I replaced with used wheels and brand new tires in Walmart. Also tire rotation and alignment completed.

Past story 3
The car cannot start one month ago. After checking, C&K auto, a local auto shop, replace my starter but the engine light got on after 2 mins. The code reader report "knock sensor no signal". Then they replace the sensor that is the engine light is still on and off sometimes. So I sent back to C&K again. They said wire connection issue. After repair wire, it's all good until yesterday. I cannot start my car in a gas station after one hour highway driving. I didn't understand why battery after highway driving. I success started my car after using jump cable, but it vibrated a lot. The airbag signal was on and off every minute while driving.

I try to use Hyper Tough HT300 Scan Tool to read but it reports no error code at all.

It was a pretty good car but I'm thinking whether it deserve further attention. I've spent $600 within 3 months. (Not include the wheels and tire because my friend covered). The worst part is blocking commuting to work everyday. I don't have much time to repair it in the future.

Could I ask for your opinion? Does it deserve one more chance?

Well find a good Honda mechanic. Let him check the wiring. Those are good cars that can last a really long time. You can't blame the car for a lot of the problems that it had and tell him about the tree hitting it because it could be the wiring was damaged when the tree had it and then they missed that when they did repair work
