F-150 Fuel rail cleaning

F-150 2016 v8 5.0 I disconnected fuel line to rail and connected fuel injector canister with air pressure. Air pressure 45 psi, valve fully open to fuel rail.  Disconnected fuel pump relay and fuse. Tried to start engine would not run. Just turned over never fired.

is there something that is turning ignition off or injectors off with these relay or fuse pulled?  All videos show running engine from canister no comments about not starting?

Disconnected fuel pump relay and fuse

you really should read the manual

@imperator Will try that next. Thanks

Well, you can't turn the injectors off or it won't fire the fuel you're putting in. They have to pulse otherwise no fuel will get into the engine

The fuel pump relay controls turning the fuel pump on/off. Fuses can power multiple different circuits. Try leaving the fuel pump relay out but leave the fuse plugged in.

In other words, the fuel pump won't turn on if the fuel pump relay is unplugged.
