I have a 2008 5.4 L V8 Triton motor Ford F150 with
205883.5 MI my transmission is stuttering and slipping I took it and had the transmission serviced and it turned out that the previous owner had never serviced the transmission the original seal and oil was found with a bunch of metal on magnet now it's on its way out the engine has been serviced regularly and runs great other than some squeaking from the belt I'm trying to figure out if it's worth paying 3,000 to $4,000 to replace the transmission I would greatly appreciate if anyone could give me some advice before I decide

With that amount of mileage and a granny going bad or is bad, take you loss now and
get out.

I don't think it's worth it.
