1998 F150 won’t crank

Hey Scotty i have a 1998 Ford F150 V6 engine I turned on the engine for a couple of minutes and turned it off after I turned it on again and it did not want to start. The battery works the starter works every fuse work I also started it from the from the solenoid it turned in but when i try to start it from then key ignition it will not crank if you know anything about this please help.

If you can jump the solenoid/relay and it works then the problem is on the control side of the circuit.

Without the RAP anti-theft, you have (1) the ignition switch, then (2) fuse 21 in the passenger compartment fuse box, then the (3) transmission range switch, then (4) the starter relay. Check those 4 components.


With the RAP anti-theft, you have (1) the ignition switch, then (2) fuse 21 in the passenger compartment fuse box, then the (3) starter interrupt relay, then (4) the transmission range switch, then (5) the starter relay. Check those 5 components.
