Hi Scotty, love your YouTube channel, watch it lots & have used some of your tips. I have an 2002 F350 V10 4WD 28,000 kms, giving P0743 TCC & P0755 Solenoid B codes. One minute the truck is fine, the next trip it's in limp mode & giving these codes, first time this has occurred. The fuse block cover under the dash has no fuse info on it, I was able to find one on internet but no fuses specifically for the trans. I've checked for loose/bad connections on trans & rear diff wheel speed sensor. The truck belongs to our volunteer fire depart. so trying to save money on parts & repairs, typical shop response to these codes is rebuild tranny & that usually doesn't help as is an electrical issue like a broken or grounded power wire or possibly a solenoid issue. Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions as internet searches have helped eliminate things it isn't. Thanks in advance, Michael, Deputy Fire Chief, Hedley, B.C., Canada.
Wow! Realize those things have an insane level of complexity with all those electronic controls on a transmission. But if you can find a guy like me in British Columbia heaven hook up his dealer level scandal and take it for a road test. Our scan is can do bi-directional testing to see. Is it a computer module problem, a wiring problem or a sensor problem. Knowing Fords it often can be a computer problem
Hi Scotty, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to troubleshoot the "old school" way. Yeah these things are far too complex for a DIY guy like me. Don't know how much luck I'll have finding someone like you up here, you are one of a kind after all, LOL. Thanks again. Cheers, Michael.
