Buy from reputable dealers. Is this a big problem? I haven't heard anybody complaining.

I'm genuinely curious. Has this become such a problem that I actually need to be vigilant about it? Or is the media just trying to scare us again, because they just discovered that scummy online sellers exist (but have always been there).

Many of Toyota parts are massively produced.
so I guess fake ones cost more than genuine OEM parts.
