The Lincoln Mark VIII is fast and reliable (280hp stock but can be upgraded to 300+ with dual exhaust). They are also pretty cheap (I bought one with 50,000mi for $3,000). Their only main weakness is the air ride suspension, it would probably be leaking. But a conversion kit costs $350.

The 0-60 is what kills it for me, a v8 guzzling gas while a v6 Infiniti g35 will hit just about the same hp and better 0-60

G35/G37, Accord V6, Camry V6, ford tauras SHO AWD, etc. (all put out more or less 250 to the CRANK, not wheel. Can be to the wheel plus more if bolt ons and tune is added)
