Will my car have a smoother idle with a spark plug gap change? I have heard gap changes ignition timing slightly
Clarification: Year, Make, Model, Mileage?

Just use the gap as specified by the manufacturer.
.30 tp .35 suggested. Does it matter if the gap is at the lowest in range?
I looked that up. That really gets into the weeds with spark plug gap. Thank you
That's what racers use to get maximum power.

Try indexing your plugs. That might help.
