Pretty much every manufacturer did away with zerk fittings years ago. It's cheaper to design and manufacture, but not cheap or easy to replace when a whole control arm needs to be replaced, instead of just a ball joint, for example. Some replacement part manufacturers make parts that have fittings, so you can grease them. My 1999 Ranger had its ball joints and such replaced with parts that have zerk fittings. When you need to replace parts, try to find them with the fittings.
