Check the fuel and air filters and sensors (MAF, Camshaft and Oxygen Sensor)- they may be bad.

You said that this isn't the original engine and you didn't mention when it was replaced- do a compression test on the engine.

thankyou you for your time will do

I know when I had a vacuum leak on my 98' f-150, it threw a check engine light. Keep an eye on the vacuum line that runs right behind the battery. The battery likes to leak on it and burn a hole on that line.

I would clean out your air intake system to help it run smooth.

Also out of curiosity, did you drain the trans fluid by dropping the pan and also drain from the torque converter? I love that the old ones allow you to do that, it really helps to get nearly all the old fluid out.

thank you so much for your help ive done oil ,trans fluid throttle body cleaning aolt thank you again for your time and tips
