Hey Scotty, I’m helping my cousin look for a new pickup truck and we are looking mostly at Fords and what Toyotas we can find. What are you thoughts on the reliability and longevity of the 5.4 triton 3v/4v engines in the f150s post 2003? I have a 2v 98 with 311k miles and it’s great, but I hear the 3v and 4v had a ton of issues with spark plugs, timing chains, and rocker arms/lifters. Any thoughts? Thanks!

i thought I saw a Scotty video a while back warning against the 3 valve. Not sure about the 4 valve.
