What is the best AC compressor for me to put in my Ford Explorer? It’s a 2014 2.0 turbo and I had an AC failure our four seasons reliable or should I look for an OEM Motorcraft?

OEM is almost always better than any aftermarket stuff.

OEM is best. (Having said that I've had an aftermarket UAC compressor in my car for about a dozen years and it's been fine. However that's on an old high-miles beater that I did not expect to last as long as it has. I'd stick with OEM on a late-model vehicle.) Only buy a new compressor, the rebuilt ones have a very high failure rate.

If your old compressor failed internally you also need to replace the condenser, drier, and expansion valve or orifice tube, and flush out the rest of the AC system to remove debris. You'll probably find that you need to take those steps to preserve the warranty on the new compressor.
