as long as it is NOT the 5.4
or you might consider a diesel, there are some to avoid and some that are really good.
But between a hybrid and a gasoline V8, the V8 would last a lot longer.
If you plan to keep for a long time and want the longest lasting power train (engine/transmission) I’d avoid hybrid (too new) and any V8 for MY 2018 and later. Please see post below from one of our reputable members Mod_Man. The new Gen3 5.0 Coyote V8s are susceptible to oil consumption due to Ford switching to plasma arc cylinder liner technology. Also, the 10-speed AT has had some issues and still not true and tried yet.
