I'm shopping for an F-150. Which years should I buy?

97-03 or older. Since about mid 2000s up till now Ford has gone waaaayyyyyy downhill in actual quality with the F150.

I voted 2004-2008 but I'm biased because I have a 2007 V6 manual. Been a great truck so far, only thing I've had to replace is a power steering line. It doesn't even have power windows, and I love it for that 🙂 Not very powerful, but it does everything I have needed it to do so far.
