I have a 2000 Ford Ranger with 255000 miles, automatic, 3.0. The truck still runs strong and drives great but the power steering pump makes a lot of noise. I had planned on replacing it but was told remanufactured replacement pumps wine just as much. Is there anything I can do to quiet this thing down. Thanks

If the steering works fine but it wines personally I'd live with it if you really want to get rid of the wine you would have to buy a brand new power steering pump not a rebuilt one
