Is the 5.4L V8 in the 2005 Navigator reliable?

This guy thinks it isn't. Maybe not the WORST, but Ford has built much better V8s

That has the infamous Triton 3V 5.4L V8. Run away from that engine especially in the early years (2005 is part of it). See my post below to get caught up to speed on the issue:
