The newer Impala's are not like that they are better cars but when it comes to reliability they went even more downhill.
Get a 2014 Ford Fusion 2.5L non-ecoboost. The 2013 had issues bc it was first year of gen but Fusions are reliable and among Scotty's 5 best cars to buy. The 1.6 and 2.0 are ecoboosts and not that reliable. The best is the 2.5 2014 model. Forget about the Chevy those are piles of junk.
All the eco boosts are breaking down, Scotty warned us all! As for the newer Impala, it's pretty damn sharp and the 3.6 LFX motor is no slouch. It's a shame they are doing away the impala, much better than the Malibu.
