A coworker/friend of mine just lost his grandmother to COVID. He inherited her 1992 Buick Roadmaster which has only 30,000 miles and change. Maybe just over. I've seen the car before, and I've met her before. There's NO way she drove it much. He wants to keep it but doesn't know how reliable of a car it could be. I think it'll be fine but told him I know of a mechanic with a website. So, I'm checking here. 1992 Buick Roadmaster with 30k and change on the clock driven by a senior that was 96 when she passed, good car?

With such a low mileage, this vehicule has plenty of life left.

When you take an old car that rarely ever gets griven and start to put miles on it, usually you get some surprises.

In order to have a reliable vehicule, I'd give it a full service : all the fluids, spark plugs, filters, belts, maybe tires if they are old, also check the brakes...
Planning a budget right now and doing preventive maintenance will save lots of trouble and headaches later.

Those cars have a good reputation, they are easy to work on, parts are cheap and easy to find.

A car with 30k on the clock is like brand new to some people and would buy it in a heatbeat.   Check YouTube reviews in it...
