Front and Rear Dashcam for your car Recommendations?

I am looking for a good dashcam for my car, I need it to capture front and rear. I do not care for interior capture. Just need something that can read license plates. Scotty recommends a camera, he has it listed in his recommended Amazon list, however it does not capture anything from the rear of the car. I heard Hero is a good brand. I know that these things can get expensive but if anyone knows a good dashcam that captures front and rear please answer me with some links and possibly a story of why u chose it.

Thanks!

I'm in no way an expert in dash cams but the one I have has worked flawlessly for me for 3 years in Canada. I tried a cheaper one but it never worked right, guess you get what you pay for? The one I have now is a "Blackvue". I'm sure the model I have is no longer available but the brand and the customer support was awesome from: https://www.blackboxmycar.ca/collections/deals?gclid=CjwKCAiA8Jf-BRB-EiwAWDtEGt3PZcySt_ainXL7_gvHUIu62gf1RQRCz3wXa4bqXouCEt_LNBEImxoC3S0QAvD_BwE
I also chose an expensive mirco SD card with 128 mb of storage. Because my camera rewrites, I chose a large capacity card figuring it wouldn't rewrite as often, because rewriting is what ruins most cards. I have a "Transcend Premium" card, I paid close to 100$ for with a lifetime warranty. My camera came with everything needed and I had no trouble installing it myself. I did a "hard wire" to my fuse box but the camera kit comes with various choices. Good Luck 🙂

If looking for something on the cheaper side^^^

I am planning on soon buying one for myself almost all my friends use this one and it doesn't get in the way like some of the bulkier ones out there. It saved my friend from a hit and run once. Overall it does it's job, just be sure to get a quality memory chip on it as the cheaper ones seem to malfunction easier.

@bruceree
do you have a link to amazon?

The link should be there? If not just look up apeman and it should pop up.
