car is a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis GS with 102K. It already has a sound system with subeooofers snd amps that are hardwired to the battery.
I Also have a front Dashcam on it, a RedTiger F7N. It also has a rear cam that came with but I don’t use that one yet due to the ugly long wires and I don’t feel skilled enough to remove the roof liner to tuck the wires underneath. For my front, I plug snd unplug it from the cigarette lighter snd I hide the wires in between the middle benchrest so you can’t see them.
anyway, I’d like to be able to use the parking mode. But the only hardwire kits I found on Amazon are made in China snd have mixed reviews saying they’ll give you problems or may even not provide the battery drainage protection. It’s theoretically supposed to cut off when it detects the voltage falls below a certain threshold so you can start it in the morning.
any thoughts and any recommendations on a good hardwire kit to buy?

Yeah. Leave your present setup alone.
How often does your vehicle get hit while parked, that you need a dashcam with a continuous parking mode?
Or get one which will start recording for 10 secs (from its own internal battery) automatically, when it detects a significant g-load.
All the best!
I have a front and rear dash cam in my cars and it's the BlackVue brand. You can buy a battery pack for it which you plug it into the cigarette lighter and it charges the battery so it keeps the dash cam on for parking mode. No need to hardwire it.
