I have a 2017 Toyota Prius2 with 83,000 miles. The dealer says I need a front end alignment. It doesn't pull to either side. Is the only thing they are going by is the manual says it needs it?

The dealer will tell you they are holding your Mother hostage for $$ if they thought they could get away with it.

Besides not pulling left or right, is there any evidence of misalignment? How are the threads on the tires? Are they wearing evenly or is one area more worn than others.

You need to ask them why you need it, and they should point it right out to you. We can't see your car.
