Scotty, I have a 97 nissan pathfinder 3.3L engine, automatic 4x4. It only has 75,000 miles. I replaced the fuel filter. The fuel pump has never been replaced. Is this something that needs to be replaced at a certain mileage, or do they mostly last the life of the vehicle? I sometimes go out in the middle of nowhere camping and fishing and do not want to get stranded. Please let me know if I need to do anything. Thanks.

Have the fuel pump pressure tested with a gauge. Nothing lasts forever.
