Scotty, having trouble finding answers to my questions b/c your YOUTUBE titles don't always match up for me.  I *think* you're recommending only Acura, Subaru, or Honda f/s SUVs.  As for f/s pickups, only F250s or (V8 only) version Tundras.  My 2002 Tundra has 350K miles and with prices going crazy, I'm trying to prepare for replacing my truck.  My wife has a Buick Enclave with 120K and we're starting to see the usual problems with GM, so I need to prepare for replacing that sooner-than-later too.  Please send me a short response so I can figure this out before I retire in February..THANK YOU SIR!!!  Mark (polock)   Kcolop@GMAIL.COM

SUV Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander are both great vehicles.

Truck Any “American” truck wether GM, Ford or Ram is going to be a roll of the dice since overall quality across all 3 are about the same anymore. I don’t think you’re going to find a F150 is any better than a GM 1500 or Ram 1500 and vice versa. Anymore you pick whatever style and features you like better and just hope you’ll get 100k mi without anything major happening. The Tundra is what it is, expensive with a payload and towing capacity that’s pitiful for todays standards. BUT they run. 3/4 tons though there is a difference, Ford in my opinion takes that category with the gas line up. Either the 6.2 or the 7.3 would be a good choice in my opinion. I have seen one 6.2 w/ 450k mi and was still a solid running motor.
