Just bought2014 sierra. On occasion when sitting at light engine will shake,not consistantly though. Took it to dealer and it wont register on their computer, or that it ever had a shake. They wont pay for problem if computer says everything's ok. What do we do
Shake, as if the engine is stuttering and wanting to stall?
If their is a AUTOZONE near you you should ask for a free scan of your vehicle of what the problem. If their is ANY SHAKING it indicates to me some kind of missfire if its ignition related. But offhand did you buy this vehicle from the same dealer as the one saying they found nothing?
is it a slow shake like rumble, or a fast vibration?
You make a video for the shake and show to the dealer.
Another thing you can do is to ask a professional mechanic to check your car with a high level scan tool and figure out the issue by looking at the data. I think the second option is more viable to convince the dealer that there is an issue.
