My Mazda 3, 2008 2.3L GT (Japan Made) model with standard transmission and 165,000 Kms smells like gas in cabin whenever I try a quick acceleration. everything is running perfectly fine even acceleration is perfect, but I have to roll windows down every time I try to floor it. How can I address the problem ?!
P.s. I have changed the original battery (Panasonic) after 12 years in cold of Canada and it was still working just not enough to start the car in Canadian winter !!!

Have your exhaust manifold checked for leaks.
Check to see if your spark plugs are snug in their cylinders.
Also check to see that the spark plugs aren't cracked or broken.
Take a look at your valve cover gasket. If it's old, it's brittle and maybe there are gaps where the gasket dried out.
The engine oil cap: Inspect the O-Ring. If it's bad, that would do vent gas too.
