When living in California we have to spend more money in the summertime for gas because come that time, we switch over to a "summer blend gas" Well, in my nonprofessional opinion I think this magical blend is a bunch of <baloney> and just another way to <separate> Californians of their money. Your thoughts on this gas? Maybe you can do a YouTube video about this??
blending isn't limited to California. It's a normal practice with fuels around the world to keep the volatility down. There is plenty of technical explanation available on the web if you need it.
The truth is that gasoline blended for the summer boosts energy content a couple of percent, so you're actually getting more miles to the gallon.
